Tyler J. Jones
Managing PartnerAttorney Tyler J. Jones focuses his practice in the areas of Adoption, Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Elder Law. He enjoys guiding families and seniors within the practice to assure that their legal needs are met in a timely, friendly, and comprehensive manner. Attorney Jones is a member of the Westmoreland County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and is active in the Irwin community.
Attorney Jones has been named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine, an honor given to no more than 2.5% of the lawyers in Pennsylvania. He is also a Fellow in the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys (AAAA) and was named to the Top 10 Under 40 by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys. In 2016, Tyler was awarded the Westmoreland County Trailblazers Award in recognition of community leaders under the age of 40.
Tyler is a graduate of Seton Hill University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with minors in Accounting and History. Attorney Jones received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. During his time at Pitt Law, he served as the Executive Editor of the University of Pittsburgh Journal of Technology, Law & Policy. Additionally, he served as an intern for the Honorable John T. Bender of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, as well as the Honorable Christopher A. Feliciani of the Westmoreland County Court of Common Pleas.
Mr. Jones began working for Attorney Mary Ann Petrillo while in college at nearby Seton Hill. Following law school, he joined the firm as an associate attorney. In 2015, Tyler became the managing partner of the firm and handles the firm’s day to day matters.
Tyler is active in the community and serves as a board member for several local organizations including Redstone Presbyterian SeniorCare, CASA of Westmoreland and the Norwin Historical Society. Attorney Jones frequently lectures throughout Western Pennsylvania on the topics of estate planning, asset protection and estate administration.
Tyler and his wife live in Irwin along with their three children.
